The four-sided neck jewelry is made of a square cross-section rod twisted around its horizontal axis. Its ends are thinned and rounded. The rod is bent into a ring with unclosed ends. The ends are bent with loops.
It belongs to the typical twisted hryvnas, which are considered as one of the Cuman (Polovtsian) ethno-cultural markers and social symbols of high status. Hryvnas of this type are found in the burials of medieval nomads, mostly women. The image of such breast ornaments is present on the Cuman (Polovtsian) stone sculptures, the so-called "baba". "Twisted" hryvnas were part of some treasures of the ancient Rus times.
